Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s Tech Support Services (TSS) team facilitates the adoption of new technology and maintains the digital wellbeing of the college and its people.
Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s Technical Support Services, commonly referred to as TSS, is responsible for all aspects of computers and computer-related technology used throughout the Âé¶¹¹û¶³ system. Providing a variety of critical support services to Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s college centers, staff, faculty, and students, TSS ensures Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s technology, data, and sensitive information remains safe, secure, and readily accessible when needed.

- You will be shown your user id as part of the sign-up. Normally, it is the first letter of your first name followed by your last name and student id. For example: jdoe1234.
- After signing up for Single Sign-On, how can I use my new id and password to access Jenzabar, Moodle, and Akademos?
- Open olc.edu and then select the Services menu and click on Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Single Sign-On. Sign in with your Single Sign-On user id. On my page that opens, select the system you would like to access.

- Select the link on the right side of the page (underneath the Login in button). Note: You have to complete the Account Recovery Setting before you can reset your password on your own.

- After signing in to the Single Sign-On system, click on your username in the top right corner, select My Account in the menu that appears, and then follow the steps on the page. More details can be found in
- Why am I being asked for "Additional security verification"?
- This additional security is known as multi-factor authentication. It is used to make accounts more secure.
- Can I use my old user ids and passwords?
- Yes, for the time being. Open olc.edu, then select the Services menu and click on Jenzabar, Virtual Campus (Moodle), or Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Email/Gmail as appropriate. You can then sign in with your user id and password.
- Why use single sign-on?
- Single Sign-On is required to access Akademos (The Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Bookstore). You can set up account recovery to reset your password on your own. The legacy login is currently still available for Jenzabar and Moodle, but this may change in the future.
- Can I use my Single Sign-On id and password to access my Student email?
- No. Âé¶¹¹û¶³ has not adopted Single Sign-On for student emails.
- Why has Âé¶¹¹û¶³ not adopted Single Sign-On for student emails?
- Adopting Single Sign-On for Gmail would cause your existing login information to become invalid. When implementing new systems like Single Sign-On, it takes time for the users to adopt the system.
Âé¶¹¹û¶³ uses Gmail for our email system. All Âé¶¹¹û¶³ email addresses will end in "@olc.edu".
A Student's username and password will be created during the registration process. Your username and password can be obtained from the Registrar's Office or you can file a .
You can access your email by visiting , hovering over Resouces, and then selecting Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Email (Gmail).
You can also visit and enter your username and password.
Connecting email clients
You can open your messages from Gmail in other mail clients that support POP, like Microsoft Outlook.
Step 1: Make sure POP is the best way to read your emails
IMAP and POP are both ways to read your Gmail messages in other email clients.
IMAP can be used across multiple devices. Emails are synced in real time.
POP can only be used for a single computer. Emails aren't synced in real time. Instead, they're downloaded and you decide how often you want to download new emails.
Step 2: Set up POP
First, set up POP in Gmail
1. On your computer, open Gmail.
2. Sign in with your “username@olc.edu” and password.
3. In the top right, click Settings .
4. Click Settings.
5. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
6. In the "POP Download" section, select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.
7. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
Next, Allow less secure apps to access your gmail
Go to your Google Account
Select Sign-in & Security
Scroll down to the bottom of Sign-in & Security page and turn on Allow less secure apps:ON
Then, make changes on your email client
Go to your client, like Microsoft Outlook, and check these settings.

Âé¶¹¹û¶³ utilizes Jenzabar as its student information system. Jenzabar allows students to register for courses, view official grades, view attendance records, update direct deposit information for student refunds, view financial aid statements, and more.
Access Jenzabar through the Single sign-on system (My Âé¶¹¹û¶³)
Log in to (see the My Âé¶¹¹û¶³ tab above for details).
Select Jenzabar (JICS).

The Moodle Learning Management System is Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s official Virtual Campus. Many courses taught at Âé¶¹¹û¶³ will utilize Moodle. You can access Moodle in two ways. You can use the Single Sign-On system (My Âé¶¹¹û¶³). You can also log in to the Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s Moodle site directly.
Access Moodle through the Single sign-on system (My Âé¶¹¹û¶³)

Note: Your log-in credentials will be different than your Single Sign-On (My Âé¶¹¹û¶³) credentials.
You can also access your email by visiting , hovering Resouces, and then selecting Virtual Campus / Moodle.

Many courses at Âé¶¹¹û¶³ utilize Zoom for distributed learning.
Âé¶¹¹û¶³ has installed smart classrooms at its college centers. These smart classrooms are designed to utilize Zoom.
Signing Up
You can sign up for Zoom by visiting and following the instructions on the screen.Joining a Zoom meeting
If your course utilizes Zoom, your instructor will provide a link to the meeting. You can find information on .You can follow the link below, sign in with your Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Microsoft 365 account, and install Office 365. Detailed instructions can be found below the link.
Logging in
You will be assigned an Office 365 account by the college. If you have not yet logged in to your Office 365 account, please check your Âé¶¹¹û¶³ email for a temporary password or reach out to Tech Support. You can skip security verification, but you may be prompted again next time you attempt to log in. You must use your Âé¶¹¹û¶³ email when you log in.
Accessing Office 365 Online
To access Office 365 online, you will need to open . You will need to log in with your Microsoft credentials.

You will need to open and log in with your Microsoft credentials.You will need to select Install apps in the top right corner. Then select "Microsoft 365 apps".
Select Install Office. This will download a file named OfficeSetup.exe. Run this file and follow the instructions on the screen.

Internet safety and security is a top priority at Âé¶¹¹û¶³, and the TSS team is here to ensure all students and faculty are readily educated on the importance of tech safety.

Google Workspace
Your student email and password will also give you access to Google Workspace. Google Workspace includes a number of useful tools.
Is an online file storage service.
Google Docs is an online word processing utility.
Google Sheets is an online spreadsheet utility.
Google Slides is an online presentation (slide show) utility.
Google Calendar is an online calendar.
Google Chat is an instant messaging utility.
Google Meet is a video communication utility.
As part of your Office 365 account, you will be able to use Microsoft OneDrive. OneDrive is an online file storage utility that will give 1 TB of storage. You can also use the OneDrive App to access your online files and back up the files on your computer (see details below).
To access OneDrive, sign in at (see the Office 365 tab for details). Then select the menu icon in the top left and select OneDrive.

If you are using Windows 10, then the OneDrive App should already be installed. If you are using a different operating system you download OneDrive .
Select the Windows button and scroll down to OneDrive.

Sign in with your Âé¶¹¹û¶³ email and use your Microsoft account password (see Office 365 tab).
